Handmade in America

from Handmade in America...
Every region and community has its unique gifts and challenges. In Western North Carolina, one of those gifts is our extraordinary, rich heritage of handcraft.

Our Mission is to celebrate the hand and the handmade, to nurture the creation of traditional and contemporary craft, to revere and protect our resources, and to preserve and enrich the spiritual, cultural and community life of our region.

Womansong is a community chorus that provides a place for women's emotional, creative, spiritual nourishment through healing and support. It celebrates the unity, diversity, and empowerment of women through musical expression, serving the community and promoting social change.
