- The current national alcohol recovery rate is 18.2% but there are recovery models that have long term recovery rates of 75% to 80%. Why are these treatment models successful and what can we learn from them? What is the underlying cause of relapse and how can it be prevented?
Bill Wilson, one of the founders of AA, discovered the missing link to recovery and devoted the end of his life to teaching others. Now we have thirty years of successful research that is making a change in the way alcoholism is viewed. This informational talk is open to everyone.
Presented by Suka Chapel, PhD, RN. Suka is an ordained minister, hospital chaplain, national speaker and RN with 35 years experience in the fields of wellness, mental health, criminal justice and substance abuse.
