The Flat Rock-Hendersonville Chapter of PFLAG (Parents, Family and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) will host a panel discussion, Religion, Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity on Monday, April 3 from 7:00 – 8:30 pm at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 900 Blythe Street in Hendersonville. The event is free and the public is invited.
March is Women’s History Month and in observance, UNC Asheville will present the annual F-Word (Feminist) Film Festival, a new exhibition of works by Asheville artist Irene “Jenny” Pickens, and many talks and panel discussions. These events are free and open to everyone.
