Jessie Klein, author of "The Bully Society," writes that girls need help in building trusting relationships.

Girls get called “slut” every day. My students are so used to getting bullied and harassed they can’t imagine a school without bullying. A student in one of my classes once said, “Get over it.” They look at me like I’m some kind of crazy pollyanna professor when I suggest that it doesn’t have to be that way.
