How Affordable is Affordable?

At Sheville.org®, our job is simple. We merely have to stay in tune with Western North Carolina, our advertisers, our readers, and the web in general! And guess what? Because these days, everybody's pinched -  there's a huge temptation among businesses to cut advertising because times are tough. But how smart is that? Put this another way: you know that every day, more people are relying on the web to give them information, even about their local area. Do you find out what the cheapest gas prices are by driving around, or by going to NorthCarolinaGasPrices.com? Do you find a phone number by finding your phone book, or by googling? So what makes you think your customers are any different?

How does Our Pricing Work?

To keep our advertising affordable, we have broken our fees into two parts: set-up, and listing. You can minimize or eliminate the set-up fees by submitting exactly the components of the ad or announcement that we request. For example, almost all of our advertising includes a picture. If you can send the picture as a .jpg or .png in exactly the size we specify, with all the information we generally list (things like company name, description, phone number, web site, etc., we will waive the set-up fee. Our measure? If it takes two e-mail exchanges or less to get the job done, there's no set-up fee. But if you need us to work with you, then we charge $50 per hour in quarter-hour increments for the set-up fee. This also applies to changes made after the ad has been listed.

This split between set-up and listing means that once the ad is up, you are getting an extremely affordable advertising rate for the number of readers you will be reaching.

And remember: once you order an ad from us, please be sure to proof-read our work! And this especially means clicking on the link to your site!
