North Carolina State Representatives Pricey Harrison (D-Guilford), John Autry (D-Mecklenburg), and Jean Farmer-Butterfield (D-Wilson) have introduced the first legislation ever in the North Carolina General Assembly to call for the State of North Carolina and the United States to set a goal of achieving 100% clean, renewable energy for all energy sectors by the year 2050.

The purpose of the “100% Clean Energy & Green Jobs Resolution” is to stop climate change and to promote economic development and job creation for the people of North Carolina and the nation.
Recognized as an historic event by the North Carolina Climate Solutions Coalition (NCCSC) to protect North Carolina and the Planet from climate catastrophe, the Coalition also called Rep.
