The mission of the WWBC is to provide capital, high quality technical assistance, and programs that reduce barriers and serve as a catalyst to the success of women entrepreneurs in Western North Carolina.SERVICES

The WWBC is committed to helping start-up and existing women-owned businesses through providing technical assistance they need to succeed and achieve their business dreams. The WWBC is essential in providing financial education to women entrepreneurs in four ways:

  • One-on-one assistance
  • In-depth business coaching and counseling
  • Educational opportunities
  • Access to capital

By providing a full range of services, the WWBC meets the needs of women entrepreneurs facing challenges in accessing capital and resources to establish a successful business. From drafting a business plan to implementing and marketing your business, the WWBC helps women entrepreneurs to achieve their business dreams.

Educational Opportunities

In addition to one-on-one assistance and coaching, the WWBC provides a range of educational opportunities for entrepreneurs. These are a few examples of the types of workshops and classes we offer. Please check our calendar for upcoming events.

Annual Conference

This inspiring event brings together women entrepreneurs, business experts, nationally-renowned speakers, and artists for a full day of learning and networking.

Networking & Workshops

These events offer entrepreneurs the opportunity to learn and engage with other business owners. Our monthly workshops focus on networking and discussion of business topics such as marketing, managing cash flow, financial tools, procurement and contracting, and more.

Business Courses

For entrepreneurs seeking more in-depth training on specific topics, we offer courses that focus on specific topics, such as:

  • Quickbooks for the Small Business (4-week course)
  • Business Loans Seminars (Monthly)
