WESTERN WOMEN’S BUSINESS CENTER Services and Events

​North Carolina has ranked third for the growth of women-owned businesses over the past two decades. In Western North Carolina, a hub of entrepreneurial spirit and activity, women-owned businesses are important economic and community drivers.

Still, women entrepreneurs face unique challenges in accessing capital and other resources they need to establish successful businesses. The WWBC is committed to helping start-up and existing women-owned businesses through providing technical assistance they need to succeed and achieve their business dreams. The WWBC is essential in providing education and training to women entrepreneurs in four ways:​

• One-on-one assistance
• In-depth business coaching and counseling
• Educational opportunities
• Access to capital
